Randy McStine is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. He is primarily known as a guitarist and vocalist, whose work as a solo artist and with his former band, Lo-Fi Resistance, embraces genres such as Rock, Progressive, Singer-Songwriter, Folk, Power Pop, and Ambient music. 

In 2020, he formed McStine & Minnemann with drummer and composer Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats). The eclectic duo has released two albums, and made their live debut in 2022. Soon after, Randy was brought in as a touring member of Porcupine Tree, who returned with a new album and world tour after a 12-year hiatus. A live album and concert film from the tour, Closure/Continuation.Live, showcases McStine’s additions to the band, while Randy’s latest solo release, UNINTENTIONAL, serves as an inspired homage to his early guitar influences in the Blues Rock domain. Randy is currently working on music for McStine & Minnemann, and a new solo album planned for 2024.
